The International Journal of Peace and Development welcomes original research contributions that advance understanding of peace, development, education, and security issues. We accept various types of submissions including research articles, case studies, policy analyses, and review papers.

Manuscript Submission Guidelines

International Journal of Peace and Development publishes quarterly issues featuring original research that contributes to understanding and addressing challenges related to peace, development, education, and security.

Types of Manuscripts

  • Research Articles: Original empirical or theoretical research (6,000-8,000 words)
  • Case Studies: In-depth analysis of specific contexts, interventions, or programs (4,000-6,000 words)
  • Policy Analyses: Critical evaluations of policies and their implementation (4,000-6,000 words)
  • Review Papers: Systematic or narrative reviews of literature (6,000-8,000 words)
  • Research Notes: Short reports on innovative methods, tools, or preliminary findings (2,000-3,000 words)

Submission Process

Authors can submit their manuscripts by email to the Editorial Office at submissions@ijpdjournal.org or editor@ijpdjournal.org

Please ensure your submission includes:

  1. A cover letter explaining the significance and originality of your contribution
  2. Main manuscript file in MS Word format, following IJPD template (Download the template)
  3. All tables and figures embedded in the manuscript
  4. Author information in a separate document (to ensure blind review)

All manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere.

Review Process

All submissions undergo:

  1. Initial editorial screening
  2. Double-blind peer review (2-3 reviewers)
  3. Editorial decision (accept, minor revisions, major revisions, reject)
  4. Copy editing and production (if accepted)
  5. The typical review process takes 8-12 weeks from submission to initial decision.
